Information for presenters
Presentation format
The conference will be organized as an in person event only.
Your abstract(s) will be published on BOOK OF ABSTRACT volume, and will become public at the date of the event.
Content changes are not allowed after the abstract has been reviewed and accepted for presentation.
Oral presenters will each have 15 minutes for presentation and Q&A. It is mandatory to adhere to the time schedule: Please download the Power Point Presentation Template for your presentation. Presentation will be drop at the computer in the Plenary Session room, during the time for “registration” or “lunch break”. For fast identification, please save the presentation with the name of the speaker and drop in the specific folder of the session you have been included.
If you have been scheduled for an POSTER presentation, prepare an A0 Poster PORTRAIT mode using Poster Presentation TEMPLATE. We recommend to use a minimum font size of 18 points (Text should be readable from 2 meters away.). Please respect the indicated dimension (A0) and mode for printing. There is one (1) poster board available per presentation. Larger or smaller printed posters won’t fit in the exposition panels. Posters will be drop at the registration desk in the morning of the scheduled day. They will be mounted around 10:00 and will be on display up to 17:30 (day 1) and 16:30 (day2). Presenters are expected to be near the poster at the “meet the presenters” moments, at the specifically mentioned time in the program.
If you have been scheduled for a PICO moment, use this TEMPLATE. Presentation will be given as e-posters, on touch screens. Video materials can be also embedded into the presentation. The files will be drop at the computer from Expo Area in the morning of the scheduled day.
Other information
Convert your presentation into an article or book chapter
If you are interested in submitting for publishing an extended version of your abstract, there are 2 possibilities.
- Publish as a journal paper if the covered subject falls under the scope and objectives of the Journal. Papers submitted before 31 December, if accepted, will pe published free of charge

2. Publish as a book chapter under the aegis of the Romanian Society of Applied Geophysics. Full-papers should be submitted before 31 of December. Publishing is based on peer-review evaluation and free of charge for a 15 pages material in the book format. Publishing date will be in 2025 (see past editions at this link: https://appliedgeophysics.ro/virtual-library/)
Presentation Cancellation Policy
If you are you cannot join us in Bucharest unexpectedly, please inform us as soon as possible. If you have to withdraw your presentation, please do so as soon as possible via e-mail.
Kindly note that if you withdraw your presentation, the related abstract will be removed from the database and presentation marked as “no show up” in the program.
Programme Changes
SGAR reserves the right at all times to make changes in the time schedule, dates, format, concept of the event.
If, due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of SGAR the execution of the Event as planned is prevented or impeded, SGAR has the following rights:
a.) to change the time and/or date of the Event;
b.) to change the venue where the Event takes place;
c.) to change the Format (on-site, on-line or a combination of both) or part of the format, the length, the duration or scope of the event
